Roof Inspections

Roof inspections are simply inspections that determine the integrity of a roof, how long it may last, and an estimate as to when the roof will need to be replaced. Roof inspectors are not going to climb up on your roof or the roof of a home you are thinking of buying and pull up shingles or tiles. Roof inspectors have special procedures wherein they can determine the lifespan of a given roof without tearing into it.

Radon Testing

Radon is a colorless, odorless, and invisible radioactive gas that comes up through the soil. It is naturally occurring, however, in homes, offices, and buildings, levels can be at a higher concentration than those found outdoors. Radon is the number one cause of cancer in never smokers and the second leading cause of cancer in smokers. The only way to know if radon is a problem in your home is to perform a test.

Insulation Inspections

Our inspections include checking your existing attic insulation levels and immediately letting you know if you could be losing money through inadequate insulation. An under-insulated home loses up to 40% of its conditioned air through the attic, costing you money. All it takes is a quick peek to find out. If your attic floor is insulated but the wood beams (joists) are still visible, you probably don’t have enough.
